11-15-2011: Low and clear conditions along with water temperatures hovering around 40 degrees F have persisted the past two weeks. Some very needed rain blew the creeks out the past 24 hours. Prior to the low front, many fish ravenously fed on minnow imitations especially my “wally bugger.” White and cream SS # 14 was also good. Prince and fat PT nymphs were also hot yesterday PM. The biggest fish caught was a 11.7 pounder under Herbie’s guidance on Friday the 11′th. The 34 inch fish took my white streamer. Look for the pic on Catch Reports soon.

11-29-11: Clear but good flow conditions prevailed the past several days until today’s “blow out”. Fish hit well throughout the past weekend. A fine gentleman from NYC connected with 10 steelies, landing 5 or 6…one a citation 12 # male on a black woolie bugger # 10. His image will also be posted soon. Fish also liked the 14 PT that day.

11-09-09: With fish numbers somewhat lacking on upper and mid elk, I took my clients, Dr. Bill and his fishing buddy Drew from St Louis, to 20 mile creek where they ended up having a great day. In addition to many fish in the 8 to 10 # class, numerous native steelies and recently stocked browns fell to their perfectly presented flies. Most hit the # 14 single egg in blood dot peach. Dr Bill’s biggest is posted on my Catch Reports section.
